Dybbuk walked through the near pitch-black covetous caves slowly; looking for any signs of recent movement. The night before he head overheard a conversation about miners... Not just your everyday miners, but odd ones. He was'nt much of a sucker for rumers spread at a tavern with a loose tounge, but this one he had a feeling about.
Snooping through the shadows of the cave with his trusty poisoned pike in hand, and a dagger hidden under his skirt just incase, Dybbuk could hear the faint sounds of a spell being muttered. Over the years his mistakes in training had tought him Never to rush- Its usually what got you killed in this profession. Peaking his head around a curve, Dybbuk to his suprise saw nothing even though he was sure this was the spot where he heard the spell being cast. Just as he was begining to stealth away, the sound of someone recalling in was heard. As soon as the women appeard she vanished before Dybbuks eyes. The sounds of her mining in the shadows could be heard, then she appeared again and recalled off... Dybbuk could sence something was not right here. Two hours later, she was still at it... Recalling in, hiding, mining, then recalling off. Dybbuk stood in almost amusment as her actions seemed almost robotic... too robotic...

-A few days later-

After finding out as much as he could about these miners and seeing it first hand, Dybbuk could only conclude that they where indeed Possessed and Evil. Justice must be done in order to keep this from spreading, and in order to ensure fairness to the Honest miners. So he knew what he must do- Travel the the east Covetous mines, and wait for this evil to return so it could be delt with. The journay from Minoc where he was currently staying would be a long one under the cover of the shadows... it would give him time to ponder how to handle this situation should he confront it again...

Dybbuk walked slowly throw the open roofed cavern looking for any sign. Nearing the end, and widest part of the cavern, he heard a comotion like that of the west britian bank. Three miners quickly came into view, all doing the same robotic like pattern he feared they would be doing. He came out of the shadows, and spoke to them saying "What has taken ahold of you sire?" and, "Is there a reason you are mining like a Possessed Fool would!?". No responce. He knew what he had to do at this point... Hiding in the shadows, he moved next to a spot where one of them was comming in at and prepared his Pike. When he heard the sounds of one recalling in, he stood fast in the shadows... waiting for the perfect time. As the one next to him recalled out, Dybbuk greeted him with a paralizing blow, then another on the poisoned edge. The miner fell with no atempt to stop him or run. Even the sounds of pain could not be heard.

Another was quickly dispatched in the same manner, and a third. A forth was found outside and he was shown no mercy also. Then it was done... Dybbuk laid out the ore he had collected near the forge for the Honest miners to reap. He took the ignots himself- Totaling 218- he would give them to a learning miner. In the aftermath, Dybbuk stood Around the corpses thinking... Did he bring Justice by killing these miners? He had been reported for two murders, but had gotten 2.1k in insurance. Justice comes with a fair price, but pays well.

He knew he had not yet won this fight, the miners would be back- and in greater number if this evil was powerful. But he had done his part, and would continue to do so until this threat was exterminated... Dybbuk had become something he had only dreamed of... An Assassin of Evil.

(This is my first attempt at doing this- I tried to put in pictures for it since this really happened. I tell ya though, making this has been the most fun I've had in uo in a long time. I tried to stay IC as much as possiable when I kill the miners, but alas it was hard as the where using something outside of rp... Sorry I made an ooc comment on this (-
