Cor... Cor... Cor... chanted Kevin.

The last few days were wearing on him. He could not get his mind in order. The torture was not of physical pain, as Kevin did not have a physical body to inflict it upon. It was instead awful images of death and destruction.

The daemon, Zoray, as he called himself, would occasionally show Kevin glimpses of what Kevin's eyes saw, and what his ears heard. The daemon enjoyed Kevin's anger.

A few days had passed since Kevin's body was posessed by the daemon. Kevin did not speak to him, but he could not control his emotions to now scowl or frown.

He did notice some things, however. The 'walls' of his cage grew thinner when the daemon had consumed large amounts of alcohol. Also, if he physically struck the walls, they would bend slightly. Kevin remembered this for later, perhaps to strike when he was drunk.

At poet's garden, the daemon stumbled upon Ishmael. In kevin's mind, the daemon and Kevin both now appeared as Kevin did, except the daemons eyes were bright firey red.

"Your friend... He knows it is us, and yet, he does nothing to help you," Zoray said to Kevin with a grin. Kevin remained silent, looking at the image of ishmael on the 'wall' of his prison.

The daemon stepped closer to the thin wall of the cage. "He does not care for you, at all... One of his greatest friends. I am far too inebriated to tell how many and which virtues that violates, but I bet it is quite a few," he said with a smirk.

Kevin stood and walked close to the wall, staring at Zoray with a scowl. "He will find a way. He bides his time."

The daemon laughed. He looked to his left a bit, distracted. Kevin knew he was not good at multitasking while drunk. Kevin watched the image out of the corner of his eye.

Ishmaels voice seemed to echo through Kevin's cage, as the daemon looked to his left, scowling at nothingness.

'Amo... Ver... Cor...' the chant echoed through nothing.

'Amo, Ver, COR!' the voice from the outside shouted.

'Amo, Ver, Cor!' Kevin chanted, swinging his fist at the cage, and the daemon beyond.

The cage bent, and broke, Kevin's fist catching the daemon square in the face.

And then, Kevin could see it - almost in another dimension, Kevin could see the daemons hold on the various parts of his body. Kevin began to reach for them, him and the daemon cought in a struggle that neither of them could comprehend. Kevin noted the image of his own eyes still being shown on a wall inside his former cage. His eyes were close to the ground, staring down. Had Kevin knocked him to the floor? Had Ishmael?

But then, the daemons eyes flared red. With an unholy strength, Kevin was thrown back into his cage, the wall restored, the chant of the mantras of Love, Truth and Courage gone. The walls were thin, but Kevin was too weakened to continue his fight.

The walls turned solid again. The image of his own eyes faded. The daemon clearly had more torture planned for him.

Kevin remembered what had sucseeded, and hoped Ishmael would be able to assist his fight once more, soon, uninterrupted.
