Has anyone messed with reforging/imbuing? Can you combine them? I just messed with it a bit but it seems like you cant have it both ways... or am I doing it wrong? Any help/tips?

I tried it out the other day. I was able to control my results best if I made an iron GM/exceptional item. Then I did the runic reforge to an intensity I saw fit. Then I filled in the blanks of missing properties I wanted with imbuing. Also from. What I gather runic reforging returned the best results the higher the imbuing skill. But that's my limited experience with it.

Yes, you can mix imbueing and reforging.. In fact a lot of the pvp suits now days are made with this in mind. And yes, the higher up your imbue skill the better your choices for reforging. To help, there is a guide on Stratics: Reforging
