Nightshade smirked as she brought the letter to her lips, as they caressed the paper, they left a black mark that sealed the letter. This was no romantic gesture, but a symbol of that which she had promised to do.

She had been toiling for days, and here at last she was ready to begin phase one.

Milord Arahim,

The wisp you see before you, has been instructed to deliver this letter only unto your hands. I must meet with you in private if only for a short while. I have the beginnings of that which you need to continue your search. Also, I request you bring me one of the heads, eyes intact, to this very peculiar meeting.

Lady Nightshade,

I will bring to you what I have, with the notion that what I set now in motion will almost certainly require a large cross-section of specimen from many different locales. Several different hands are set to assist me in the gathering, but am I eager to begin. I hope you will be patient with me.
