He sat in his office with a book on the desk in front of him. His assistant stood off to the side waiting for instructions. The Church's adminstrator began speaking to his assistan almost absentmindedly.

"That meeting was most interesting. It seems the Regent is as unhappy with the way his loyalists are acting as we are. Perhaps our reception won't be as harsh as I first believed. It seems they will be willing to accept teachings more readily. Yes very good.

"But.....a few things trouble me. He wants to reaffirm the loyalists next week. This would be a perfect time for us to declare our loyalties but we will not be ready. I am in the recruiting process of the perfect high priest but it will take time. I definitely will not be ready to reveal our church in a weeks time. As a matter of fact, my prospective recruit has agreed to come to next week's meeting."

The administrator reached out and picked up the book on his desk and stared at the cover intently. He ran his fingers over the title then held the book up with one hand showing it to his assistant.

"This is the most troubling item to come out of that meeting though. This book. A book very similar to this was discussed at the meeting and I've seen another just like it. The regent was very upset by this book. And do you know who gave it to me?"

He looked at his assistant for a moment but clearly was not waiting for an answer. It seemed he was more lost in thought than anything else. His assistand just stood their patiently. The administrator then set the book down and leaned back before he continued.

"Perhaps I should not say anymore. This means something coming from him. I am not sure if it was an accident on his part that he gave me this or if there is a message intended. In any case, I'll have to give this a lot more thought. But first, that high priest and perhaps a few more recruits for the running of the Church of Holy Virtue."
