Occlo's transition has been complete. More than half the population has been transformed as undead servants to cut wood and other such tasks for the army. While the remaining population is made up of those loyal to the Order and followers of Oblivion.

The history of Occlo has been drastically changed. The day had come to a mass the main attacking force and move onto another city to do the same there as we did with Occlo.

The most logical choice is one that he took before: Minoc, felucca. Though small, it's mines, rich in ore, is necessary for an army. Even though that can be done at our mainland, it is best to keep those as reserves should we ever be forced back.

Gathering on the shores of Occlo, the soldiers marched up the boarding planks onto the ships. We had hired the help of some pirates for extra passengers to be loaded as well as to ensure nothing transpired on the journey.

After the troops came a mass of undead servants. They will help strike fear and when we land they will quickly be put ot work on mining ore. I do not wish to delay until the time when Enoch and his assistant can make more from the Minoc locals.

The journey was long but uneventful. The plan had already been told. Once we land we will split the army into two and cut off any escape. We will then move towards the center and establish control. The gypsies being known for their disorder and not keen on following any laws, will be rounded up and locked up until which time that Enoch can make them into more servants of Oblivion. The rest will be weeded out over time just like in Occlo. Either they are totally loyal or they will become useful in another way. The most important was to insure the possession of the moongate. With that in our control, we would be able to strike anywhere.

When we landed we followed the plan. We met with little resistance. Like Occlo, Minoc was well aware of the Dark Order banners and with history repeating itself they were also well aware of what it meant to attempt to resist.

Minoc and it's moongate was ours.

Too easy. The words repeated themselves in Imryrr's mind with near disgust. At least the peasantry of Ocllo had tried to put up some kind of a fight here and there. With all the gypsy distractions of merry making it seemed the city of Minoc had gone soft and weak..and cowardly. So few tried to resist. Imryrr's lust for battle still seemed unsated by the end of the night.

Edgy and still wanting...more, Imryrr made her way from the bank to the gypsy camp and stood staring at the flames that lept up from their tents. The heat from the fires glistened her face with a light layer of sweat. The salt from the sweat stinging the still tender clawmark scars that streaked across the left side of her face. If she felt it, she didn't show it. Imryrr stared on, trying to put into a word what she was feeling. This feeling she had with her since their victory in Ocllo. A shallow victory as this one was. No pounding of hooves upon dirt or stone except those from the Dark Order, no blood, no magnificent clashing of blade on blade, no chants bringing fire reigning down upon enemy. Nothing. Just....emptiness. The word dawned on her. Empty. She felt only the cold of an empty victory. She yearned for battle and the glory it brings. The sights and sounds, smells and taste of battle. It had been too long since she experienced it. Without it, what was she?

Glancing to her right she spotted her father astride his mount and looked at him, his hard face turned her way a moment Though her white expressionless eyes and stoic nature prevented most from reading her, he had little trouble, even from a distance. Lord Armunn knew his daughter well. She'd be looking to punish the populace with heightened severity. He'd have to watch her and make sure she crossed no lines into insolence. He urged his mount onward toward another area of the city and Imryrr turned her face back to the fire.

Pain-filled screaming from inside the tent caused her to shut her eyes. Not from any pity, but from annoyance at a task left undone. A gypsy child had been overlooked, if her ears estimated correctly. Even a child, living or undead, has uses in a mine. Such a waste of resources. Shaking her head at this waste, she turned to search for Juks and have him take his squad to patrol again to make sure no others had been overlooked or hiding.

There was much to do in Minoc, and even more in the days to come to ready their forces for the next invasion...Imryrr turned her eyes toward Vesper and smiled darkly before jumping up onto her horse.
