Enoch set down Aulbrey's sloppily written note and resigned himself to more rest. It was not long, however, before Terra's messenger reached him. Enoch sighed as he read the note. It seemed dealing with this situation might not be able to wait long, after all. Dragging himself outside into the frigid Cainan air, Enoch sat in the center of the bloody symbol that had been emblazoned into the snow the night before. If Terra was having difficulty maintaining her form, it was pointless to send a physical messenger. Meditating there, surrounded still by the blood of Terra's former corporeal form, Enoch called out to her spirit to return to the keep. The bond between Terra and this place was still fresh and strong. Enoch had faith that his call would reach her quickly. Upon her return, perhaps he would get some answers about just what had transpired while he was asleep.
