The sun was rising slowly in front of her, as she rode languidly down the road that would take her home. It had been ages since she traveled that familiar road, and despite the movement home, she felt her heart as heavy. She knew not what she was to return into when she arrived home, what changes had taken place. She held her breath a moment, listening to the land around her. It was quiet, strangely enough. She had not been accustomed to the silence, especially not within her homeland.
Soon, in the distance, she could see the form of Hanses, and the castle. She kicked her charger into a run, galloping into the center of the small Kingdom. Her steed slid to a halt, kicking up dirt as she tugged back on the reigns, and she planted herself within her seat. Her heart sank as she looked around.
It was almost like a city of the dead. _________________ Women's Motto: Live your life in such away, that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, the devil himself shudders and says, "Oh snap, She's awake!" |
