Deep in the desert on Malas stands a pyramid where a faint echo of dark energy swirls about like a swarm of locusts. The dark energy swirls past the creatures who have inhabit the pyramid, finding its way to the hot stones and seeps into the cracks.
After entering the pyramid, the energy floats up and down the corridors that have long been abandoned by mortals. Arriving at a large antechamber filled with many stone graves, the energy begins to swirl around a sarcophagus and vanishes into the sides of it.
Stone grinding against stone can be heard as the lid of the sarcophagus begins to move, a hand appears out of the sarcophagus and moves the lid as if it weighed nothing.
The sound of bones popping and the stench of decaying flesh fill the air as a half skeletal and half decaying flesh body rises out of the sarcophagus.
"MMmm...it has been too long since I have walked these lands. But I am too weak compared to when I decided to sleep."
The undead creature makes its way to the outside of the pyramid and toward the city of Umbra.
"Perhaps it has been too long since the name Illadar Gilthazul has been heard...or even Death Knight. I will lay low until my strength returns. Maybe I will come across former allies or members of the Ebon Skull..."
Walking towards Umbra, a dead adventurer lies in the sand. Illadar strips the corpse of its clothing, donning them for himself and covering his face with the hood of the robe, then continues to head towards Umbra. _________________ - Illadar
