My Trusted Brother, Mairsil,

I wish this letter was of simple pleasantries, but it is not. My daughter, Bree Armunn, has been jailed by the Red People, known to some as the Atalan. She was trespassing on their lands, and she looks too much like Tarothin's human side for them to have ignored. She is still so very young. By the mouth of one of their own, it was told to me that she has been beaten. I could not give what they wanted of me in exchange for her. I think you would understand more than most, why.
I seek guidance in this matter as to how to proceed with a level head and in a direction you feel my husband would approve, for my own weaknesses of fear and anger are too much with me to be of clear enough thought.

Tarothin will be most displeased to say the least, and I would go to him about this if I felt there'd be little delay, but this matter is most urgent to me for obvious reasons.

I think that there might still be a small chance to get her back peacefully if I speak with Asimov directly. However, I am unsure if going back to those lands alone is wise at this point. I could try to gather as large a force as I can to take her back, but again....I am unsure if this action is the wisest either.
Please, Mairsil, I need your wisedom. I need your help.

It is good to hear from you, though I wish it were under different circumstances.

I do not yet know the who, the how, or the why this would of happened... but I would of course hear you out and offer whatever advise I can.

Mairsil,

Your letter was received with wonderful timing as any sooner and I would na have been here anyway since my housekeeper knocked me in the head and hid me away at Galnor's for a while.

Good news though! Tarothin has returned home to Sosaria! I am most confident that Bree will be with us soon again now. Lately I have had certain doubts of a personal nature but I have my heart and my eyesight back where it should be.

I am still most eager ta speak with you still, but at least now, it is not so sad or desperate. Tomorrow I am unsure how long certain business will take me, but if I can at all, I would love ta see ya then. If not, then perhaps later in the week. We will find a day, I am most assuredly sure.
