She had snatched it from the old man as he lay bleeding on the ground. She was to excited to pause even for a moment to land a killing blow, let him bleed there, let him suffer for his death. Nothing mattered only the Map.

She waved it about triumphantly and then with the thundering hoofbeats, he arrived out of no where, as always. He landed almost on top of her knocking her back so she slid across the ground and hit a tree. This was common, perhaps a sign of affection. She wasnt sure, or perhaps he was simply making her tougher, to make sure she wouldnt die from a few rough blows.

Take it to Addoroth. His voice deep inside her head.

She shook her head trying to clear it and stood shakily. No Graeve its mine! I can decipher it!

TAKE IT TO ADDOROTH. Syrynth has told me he can decode it. The horse gave a furious growl and running straight for her in a practiced move. At the last second she lifted her arms and he tossed her onto his back with a flick of his massive head. His brilliant red eyes flashed.

He's crazy, he will take hours! Graeve came to a stirring halt almost unseating her. The Bloodroot commands it Senjin, you feel it in your bones, he knows you have it and he expects you to follow the proper path.

Senjin sighed heavily, her wild streak fast dissipating. A shock of pain shot thru her body, keenly she could feel it in every nerve ending. Graeve's eyes alighted with the knowledge of what befell her and shook his head. I warned you Senjin. As Graeves words hit her, a longing for the Bloodroot so intense made her writhe a bit and the pain grew with a hunger for death and destruction. Yes, yes if the Bloodroot so wishes then I will do so.

To the Sea, Graeve...we will only find Addoroth in one place.

And now was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And the life of the ebony clock went out with that of the last of the gay. And the flames of the tripods expired. And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all.**
