Genna watched as Cat, bent over with her head in a chest, continued to toss things onto the already cluttered floor. Chandra came in the room, sighed, and started to pick up and organize the items. Megan was running up and down the stairs, loading the pack horses.

The four women were preparing to move. The time spent in Moonglow had been adventurous and had made them new friends but after many months the need to return home had become a priority. The town of Yew had been home to the women for as long as they could remember.

After meeting with the Mayor of Yew, they had decided to move back. Cat had attended a town meeting and was very happy with the people she met there. Genna had been accepted into the Yew Militia as she swore her heart, oath and life to Yew’s defense. Chandra was most happy to be able to visit the Abbey where she had grown up, an orphan, after the orc and elven wars. She was anxious to see her old friends. Megan just wanted to get to the town, unload and relax.
As they gathered the remnants of their possessions , Cat turned in the doorway and smiled, “ This isn’t goodbye Moonglow, I’ll always come back to see my friends.”

Ditto just stood, openmouthed, inside the now empty house. She had come to check to see if the Red People had returned Cat yet. With lips quivering, she says aloud to herself.....

"Kidnapped, beaten, drowned, and now they done stole all her stuff".
