Dearest Inky,

There is something I've gotten into that has become dangerous for me. You know how I hated ta be guarded and that it would take somethin serious ta make me ask for protection. I am asking for that now. I need a brother's protection and I need someone I can trust. Though we are nau guilded, you are still family to me in my heart.

I also have some things I need ta discuss with ya. Things very important to Taro and myself.

If you can not help, I will understand. I will still love ya. If you can help, I am stayin at Lord Galnor Bloodmoon's temple, so you can deliver a reply or further contact there. I dunno how long I will be here though. I do na wish ta intrude upon his hospitality. Please dun tell anyone where I can be found. Not even Cat. Cat is... odd, too close to the danger, so I canna trust her. I wish na to put Galnor's life in danger on top of everythin else.

A terrible thing happened last eve. I think Cat has been kidnapped. The Red People of Trinsic took her and a few others off with them. The others were returned..all but Cat. She must be so scared. They probably beat her too! She might even have been drowned!!
