I have been watching your pack for some time with interest. As time has gone by I believe it is appropriate that we should meet under a banner of shared neutrality and in the spirit of diplomatic relations. I believe this meeting is of mutual interest to both of us. The dark wisp before you shall wait for you to give it your reply. The time and location will be in the next letter should you wish a meeting.

Sir Scepter,

I question why you might have been watching the Guardians in silence if you do in fact wish to meet.

While I am interested in meeting you, and it may very well be beneficial, I'd at the very least ask you give me a name and title.

I understand keeping the topic of our discussion off paper, but I like to know who I'm dealing with when war is ever closer on the horizon.

Propose a time and if possible I shall meet you.

*The dark wisp appears before the castle, hovering a moment before rising up and over its high wall. It moves slowly along the catwalk and stops at Marcus's office archway. I look up and wave it forward, it does and drops the parchment on my desk.*

"I thought he would know more about our kind." *chuckling as I read who it was addressed to.*

*Pulling out a blank parchment I begin to write.*

We have little need to watch all within your clan but I wished to know more about some before even thinking of a meeting between us. I trust you understand why secrecy is of importance to some in these rather vicious lands. So to your request of a name and title, I must decline but perhaps we shall see as the meeting is conducted. As to this war on the horizon you speak of, I assure you this meeting shall be under a banner of diplomacy and no aggression shall be had from our side.

I shall have one familiar to you meet you in the lands you once lived, where the statue of the wolf still stands. They shall be there tomorrow eve several hours after the sun retreats over the mountain (9 EST).

You may bring any you wish if it helps you feel more secure, I only ask they be of similiar heritage, shall we say.
