1 - Are Luna Lances acceptable?
2 - How do we sign up? (Assuming of course you guys want us to do so, rather than force a whole bracket to be written on the spot?)

I would personally say no to luna lances and just stick to gm quality.
I haven't checked but I can't imagine it'd take much for some of us with imbuers to get together and make some gm lances that just have use best and maybe a lower str requirement if need be.

All that matters in jousts is hit chance and defend chance. As long as the lances don't have bonuses to HCI or DCI, they should be allowed. Luna Lances really should be fine and have been standard for many jousts. I don't see why it's such a problem.

Note: Starfire is making twenty UBWS Lower requirements Lances for peoples use the night of the event if you need one!

As for a sign up, please do post in here. Please note though, people will be allowed to sign up the night of the event as well.

I will put a number limit on it however if it looks like we have to many Jousters. So signing up is a good thought.

Luna lances have a strength increase and a 20% swing speed increase.

Ideally on a pass each person only gets one swing in, but even so, I'd rather not have discrepancies between lances and jousters.

In this day in age It is just as easy if not easier to make a proper lance as oppose to getting a luna lance. I don't see the problem in people not being able to use Luna lances.

In fact if there is no inherent bonus in using a luna lance, I don't see why it is so important someone should be allowed to use it.

It wasn't important that anyone be allowed to use one, Sir. It simply stated GM only, and as GM only does not create a UBWS lance, and Luna Lances had always been the standard, I had just assumed that we'd be required to use a Luna Lance if we didn't have fencing. No worries, it's all good!

Tati is making the lances, in order to get UBWS on them and Lower requirements she has imbued those two things on them only.

So for those of you looking for a lance, she is making them, also we will have them available the night of the event.
