Your Excellency,

As you no doubt were, so was I most disappointed by the results of our "debate" at your recent, and most fascinating, celebration. The forum was not at all what I had expected, and the intrusions were too frequent and hazardous at times. Despite that, I am willing to try again. I wish to make this a more formal setting on neutral territory. I suggest the Lycaeum in Moonglow? I want us to affirm and deny certain positions that we entertain. If you have read my small pamphlet, "Universalism" you will understand my own point of view. I would take from it my arguments against your Humanis dogma.

I would be happy for you to affirm that humans are the superior or master race, while I deny it. I would be glad to affirm that interbreeding of races is desirable and profitable while you deny it. Or you may suggest an affirmation of your own which I shall deny.

I do not seek which of us may be winner or loser in this. Most of us have, or will, already made up our minds about it. But it is not about winning or losing. It is about publicly declaring our philosophies to allow all who care to hear, a chance to gain knowledge of them. It is a battle of philosophies which run counter to the other which, at least for now, is left for one to choose.
