To Lord Isk, Magnate of the Republic of Magincia:


Good Sir:

It is my hope that this letter finds you in good health and high spirits.

My purpose for writing is to thank you for the fine celebration you presented this Thursday past. As my travels often prevent me from partaking of such events or interacting with others, I was thankful that I took the time to travel to your fair city to enjoy the company of your citizens and guests. It has been many years since I have felt as welcomed anywhere but in my own lands and for your hospitality, I am most grateful.

May I, once again, congratulate you on the anniversary of the founding of your Republic. I find your city to be one of the most beautiful and peaceful I have visited. It is my hope to return often for I find the views from the bluffs overlooking the sea inspiring and your well kept city gardens a quiet and peaceful place to read.

Again, thank you for your hospitality and please know that I am always at your service.
