5.9 earthquake. Shook my office pretty good. Shut the emergency fire doors and set off the alarms. We had to evacuate the building. Anyone else feel the shake?

my entire office building swayed back and forth. at first i thought i was somehow having vertigo until people started coming out of their offices asking what the hell was going on.

really odd.

i live in the northeast so i can AVOID the earthquake bs. *sigh*

Want to know something funny? I had sympathy earthquakes.

I am so familar and used to the way an earthquake feels(california) that reading about your earthquake, (which I was rather concerned about it as I know the east coast is not equipped for this) I had nightmares of an earthquake twice that made me wake up shaking.

To the point that I jumped out of bed and thought we were having an earthquake twice.

Talk about the power of suggestion. In any case it is earthquake season in September here, when the weather change hits, so I hope for all our sakes, yours and mine that is the last of it.

i didnt feel no shaking but we did have a 5.3 quake here in colorado

I wonder if we will get hurricanes here now?

I was in a pts room and asked her if she just felt the room move. Blinds still moving she said, "No you must be crazy" lol then I came back in and told her what it was. She said, " Well I thought it did too but I didnt want to both of us to be crazy" lol
