On August 29th we will be holding a tavern night of a different sort. I am sure many of you have seen this post:

I just wanted to give out a bit of information on it.

First let me thank Myrddin for once again creating a very cool poster for me. He stayed up late doing this last night and I owe him much. Secondly, yes I know its missing rule number three, but rule number three was so horrific we took it out. *wink*.

Now on to the rules listed:
There will be no mounts or mount forms allowed regardless. We also will stop the match after five minutes of dueling and go to a typical sudden death round with no healing.

The rest of the rules stipulated are at the discretion of the two duelists involved. If you wish to allow summons or pets, its up to you ect. ect.

Lastly, the RP of this.

This event is being held at the Luna bagball arena. It has stands all around for people to view and watch. However we have not forgotten that this is a tavern night and drinks will be served Medieval times style.

Number one, this is about RP, the duelists do not have to be amazing pvpers, in fact I am hoping that some of you take a more comical view of this, and emote and polish it up a bit while you are down on the field.

Also we have requested via a special note at the bottom of the post that you Invite, via the messengers log, or perhaps at this mondays tavern night(in game basically), the person you want to duel to this duel. You may invite anyone. If they agree to it, then it will be interesting to see this story unfold. (I will be inviting someone myself so you will see a post going up soon)

You may also invite people the night of the event! Thats right, we just ask that you do it with flair and in the tradition of duels do the usual glove slap to the face. It would also be interesting if people stipulated terms such as, I win you take out the trash for a week. You win I do the dishes. (you get the idea) But that is completely up to you.

Note: The winner of each Duel will be given a special prize!

If this is popular we will have more tavern nights like this, maybe not as event like, and a bit more casual but it is something I am considering doing again.
