A blackbird, possibly a mocking bird searches for Lord Yokore with a letter perched in its beak.


Lord Yokore,

I hope this letter finds you. I know you mentioned.. trees of some sort. So seeing as there are tons of trees... I felt a bird would be best suited for this trip.

Getting down to business, You were suppose to meet my daughter an eve or two ago and it did not occur. I know it did not occur as I was suppose to chaperone. As a married woman with a keen eye, I am a perfect chaperone.

Even if you are a handsome man, I do not mistake you for a kindly man, as you seem to have death and danger written all over you. Which is just up my, I mean my daughters path.

Hmm, I think she was planning to duel you, but thats how she makes friends. Perhaps to get your interest up I will lie and tell you I know something about this Whitwall fellow you are hunting. However I have been known to lie. Like the one time I told Myrddin I didnt poison his food, but I really had.

Calling out for the bird with a sharp whistle, the Wildgraf unrolled the note it carried reading it with a crooked smile. Turning the note over he began to scrawl on the back of the note lacking any parchment of his own.

My dearest Nightshade,

I must apologize for my absence of the last few eves which resulted in the missing of "our" date. Sadly my duties as a Warden of the North have been most pressing of late as it seems a Rift has been torn within my lands.

I plan to have this small inconvenience handled within the next few days and would love to reschedule if at all possible. However, if the two of you do not like to wait, you may find my home north-east of the town of Vesper by the ocean bay. And don't worry about your attire it is always optional in my lands.
