All four birds carry rolled parchment messages tied to one leg. All four have become distracted pecking the ground outside their intended destinations and eating the spoils of said pecking. The messages read as follows:

Greetings, Jouster!

Your dress armour for the upcoming joust is finished and ready for a final fitting. Please contact me in the camp behind the Bramble Rose Theatre to arrange a meeting so that I can make any last-minute adjustments and alterations. I think you'll be pleased with the choices made by the Countess. I will await your response. Until then, I will remain...
