It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you the founding of the Northridge Trading Company located in the province of Malas. As yours is an island nation it is imperative that you receive only the finest goods and services available and we believe Northridge can provide such goods at extremely completive prices.

Northridge offers only the finest Human made and Human harvested goods available. From the highest quality lumber found in the Yew valley to the richest ores and ingots of Minoc, wool and cotton from Britain and stonework from the rich deposits of Malas. In addition, Northridge Trading Company hires only the most highly skilled human craftsmen for the manufacturing of bolts and arrows, clothing and furniture, armor and weapons.

Northridge also maintains a fleet well armored shipping vessels, manned by humans, for the safe delivery of goods.

If it pleases your Lordship, Northridge Trading Company can arrange for one of our representatives to visit Magincia to discuss, in detail, our pricing and shipping costs and to answer any questions you may have.

Opening the front door, Joanna greeted the courier warmly. She took the offered letter, and dropped several gold coins into the good fellow's hand. As she headed inside, she read the letter over. As administrator, she handled a good deal of the Magnate's paperwork, especially that involving the city.

As she skimmed the first couple of paragraphs, she paused.

An outside trading company, trying to cut in on my business?

Maybe this new trading company just hadn't heard. The Weaver Trading Company had been in business and handling imports and exports for Magincia for over a decade, but their recent merge with the Fawn Shipping Company hadn't yet been announced. This might prove to be the perfect opportunity to do so.

Also, she had to admit she was very curious to know who Morgana Burke and this new trading company were. She had never heard either name before, not in any of her business dealings, not even with the Maritime Union. Reading over the rest of the letter convinced her to make contact with this new company and learn more about them. They might prove to be a beneficial business client.

She would wait until Isk had read the letter before writing to the Northridge Trading Company. She already knew what he would say, but she preferred to keep him posted and aware of such things.

She refolded the letter and carried it up the stairs to his bedroom, leaving it on his desk to await his return.
