Young Yoshi Shimakaze stood on the hill overlooking the Bay of Zento as her father’s ships were being loaded in the pre-dawn hours. June; the Cherry Blossoms had fallen marking the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. As the blue of dawn rose over the distant islands, Yoshi attempted to compose a Haiku, but failed. Her thoughts were elsewhere.

Her insult to the Imperial Crown was unforgivable and considered by many an act of treason. Her life was forfeit; but when she pleaded for permission to end it in a manner befitting her station, her father had refused. Instead he would send her into exile and later, join her, as her crime was now his as well.

How many dawns would she watch with the shame of her crime upon her brow before she could, once again, smile? How many years would it take for her father’s heart to heal or her mother’s memory to fade?

Her thoughts were on these things when a servant bowed to report that the ships were loaded and preparing to depart. Yoshi glanced back at the walled city of Zento and thought of the man who had touched her heart. Never would she feel his lips upon hers. Never would she take the vows of marriage. Her crime was unforgivable. Her duty in this life, ended.

The great ship plowed the still waters of the harbor as the sun broke the far horizon. The shining cliffs of Zento faded from view as Yoshi Shimakaze stood on the deck and faced the open sea.

After returning from a Order of the Empress, Ka'kurembo was dispatch to his duties of Tokuno. In thought of his friend,
he passes by the docks in Tokuno on his way to change his armor, While passing from shadow to shadow in Zento he noticed a Docked ship ready to depart.
Eyeing the flags whailing, a grin appeared under his mask......... *appearing from a quiet cloud of smoke*..... he called to an servant of
Shogun Ikura Shimakaze, "Aye! is Lady Yoshi aboard?".."not yet Master Ka" replied the man with a grin of his own,
after nodding Ka'Kurembo headed swiftly to the Armory of Tokuno. "Jumping thru the window saved me some time" he thought,
after searching his Chest of goodies he found the gift, an headed to see Lady Yoshi. "Gone!'...."Hai Master Ka" with a strange look
on his face *Ka Sighs*....."ok i still got time i can make it".
Making his way back to Zento he raced from shadow to shadow an made it to the docks. The ship had set sail an not even "he" can
shadow jump aboard. While looking for someone aboard to yell to.....he smelled a sweet scent riding the air an he knew she was aboard.

Holding his head a lil low.................then smiling under his mask he looked up an waved thinking
"til we meet again my friend" i will remember the good times.
