The Event Will Begin At the Tolling Of
Eight Hours Past Midday.
The Topic of the Evening's Discourse Will Be
"The Nature of Truth."

The evening's event will consist of a brief introduction to the Eternal Path. Mr. Ashande will describe in general terms its goals and procedures, most of which have been covered in the manifesto distributed prior to this announcement. A short period after this will be allotted to answering questions about the Path from those in attendance. Afterward, discussion of the topic will proceed. Further questions may be submitted in writing.
Discourse will take the following form: Mr. Ashande will give a short introduction to the topic and provide a starting point for discussion. Those with a contribution to make should raise their hands and wait to be called upon. They will be given several minutes to state their view before another is called, who may then offer their own opinion or respond to one given by another. This will continue until the formal end of event, which will be no later than two hours following its start.
Time and circumstance permitting, Mr. Ashande may remain following the formal end to continue discussion about this evening's topic or another, as well as to answer further questions any remaining attendees may have.
The topic for this very first Convergence shall be "the nature of truth". Before attending, it is strongly urged that one gathers one's thoughts on the subject so as to be better prepared to offer an opinion. Major questions suggested to ask oneself are: how do I define truth? What are the methods I use to ascertain it?
Written suggestions for future topics, or constructive criticism of the procedures used during the event, will be received by Mr. Ashande throughout the event. They will be read and considered after its end.
