Tonight, the newly remodeled Bramble Rose Tavern celebrates the founding of Ashencrosse. My view for this guild is to build, block by block, a feudalist society complete with a church of scholars, peasants, merchants, a band of gypsies, noble houses, and even eventually a standing military. Obviously this will take time to build from the ground up, but I believe the RP will be awesome along the way. Diversity, wholeness, and a sense of purpose. I'm looking forward to it!

Tonight I will open the stage, as usual, to those who wish to take it. But there will be a bit of a twist, tossed on at the last moment, to make sure it's improv for the most part. Oh and prizes. Did I mention prizes? Yeah, that.

AND....of course there is the ludus. The details have yet to be worked out, but Ashencrosse would like to eventually turn this into a way to hold fight nights and tournaments with a different spin - gladiator-style fighting with a UO flare. Hand to hand combat only, no mages, necros, etc. And my preference would be GM-Only armour, identical suits and GM weapons. I would love to see the idea fleshed out in time, if there is any interest along the way. Smile
