Not sure if this was done or suggested yet but just going to post what I am thinking anyway when I read the rebuilding plans. In days past everyone watched everyone's back regardless what it would be, and I don't see why it shouldn't change. Magincia is being rebuilt via a lotto system and there is a good guild that has been there for years. What I am geting to, the lottory for the town, it would make sence for people to all play and donate if they win the house to isk and thier crew. Helping eachother least to me is what it all was about. Yew is going to try to get them some houses, and asking TWT aswell someother friends of mine to step in. Sorry if the post makes no sence and is all over, I am stuck doing 4 things at once and to lazy to proofread. 10k is all it will cost you to try to get a northern house to help some people out.

This sounds like a great idea! Of course I support it 100%
There are some groups out there that already approached myself or Joanna about helping the Rep of Mag out when the house lottery begins. Honestly we didn't ask anyone to help but what ever increases our odds at getting the 'Player run Magincia' the Devs are trying to create an RP heavy one helps.

I think we have a few slots available for holding a house, I too will help in this endeover. I think its a great idea to help magincia out with this. I will ask all my members to attend for this lotto but how does this lotto work? What do we have to do to apply to get a number or what not?, If any of my members win the house, its Magincia's no questions asked and it will be donated. I hope maybe we can win two for you guys, that would be awsome. I think this is a great idea and I hope we can get more people to jump onboard with this to help Magincia rebuild their town. Smile

From my understanding, I don't think you need to have open housing slots. If you win you get a deed for that plot, u can teade or sell or whatever you like with the deed. Your actual house won't be in any trouble unless you actualy place a house on the spot where your deed is linked to. So everyone can try for one or as many as they wish with no restrictions. Even if someone wins one away from the beach or so, that can always be traded for one closer to the beach and so on to link them to the rest of the houses.

" The New Magincia land lottery is subject to the following terms:
1> Each lot of land will be auctioned individually. Players may enter the drawing for as many lots as they wish.
2> Players purchase tickets for the lotteries. Winners will be selected at random for each plot from all tickets sold for each plot’s lottery. One player may win multiple plots.
3> Ticket sales are account-based. Winning lots may be claimed by any character on the winning account.
4> Lottery winners will receive a Writ of Lease for the lot of land.
a. This Writ is blessed, and functions as a recall rune for the lot of land it represents.
b. Writs of Lease may be traded to other players.
c. The Writ grants the bearer the exclusive right to place a house on that plot of land.
d. Once used, the Writ expires, and the plot of land reverts to normal house placement rules.
e. If not used within 30 days, the Writ of Lease expires, and the land reverts to normal house placement rules.
f. Once expired, the Writ remains in the owner’s possession as a commemorative item "

Thank you Sun Wolf for that info, If I get one of these Writs then its yours Magincia. I will also ask members to donate theirs so you can build your city. Smile

Hopefully we win 2-3 but one would be nice also. There are still alot on this server.
