|
In the days following his recent meeting with the Lloth Matron, he had the proper documents drafted and assembled into a finely made scroll case. Drayden had his Magistrate personally deliver the case to Shinduago Charnnagen.
A small envelope accompanies the case with a brief letter. It is neatly written and sealed with the mark of the Patriarch.
To Matron Kal'iksix Viaxus,
This case contains all the necessary documents for the land that we discussed. I have signed them to you and your House as per our agreement earlier this week.
I will come speak with you soon so that we may continue what I hope to be a very profitable arrangement.
Respectfully,
Drayden Calamyr
The Patriarch
The documents in the scroll case include: written agreement that has been signed and sealed by the Patriarch and his Chancellor and two small territory maps for the land that is being given. |

A wicked smile curled from the Matron's crimson lips as she perused the contents of the case. "My, he certainly has become a male of his words with his new title," Kal'iksix thought.
Patriarch,
Thank you for expediting your half of the new agreement. In return, please accept this female as my gift to you. She's not quite up to my expectations, perhaps she will provide you many hours of enjoyment however you see fit. I look forward to our next meeting.
Sincerely,
Kal'iksix
Kal'iksix sealed the letter with the waxen imprint of her house and summoned the guards to bring the inferior priestess from the prison. Folding the papers to put them in a safe place, a small plaster piece falls on to the chair. Picking it up and looking at it, Kal'iksix addressed the female without looking at her.
"If you do anything to please me, you will serve the Patriarch in whatever he deems. You are no longer a child of Lloth, you best embrace your new Masked Lord and God. Be gone from my sight and land before I change my mind and carry out your death."
And with that, the female was off in search of Drayden as Kal'iksix resumed her seat studying the plaster piece. |
