Returning would be difficult to say the least. So many memories, happy and sad. Had the realm changed so much? Would she still have a place here?

To return without home and hearth would make her feel like a leaf in a wind storm, but she'd been gone for years and it was time to go back to where her life began.

She pushed the door open using all her strength to get the rusted hinges to work. Standing in the doorway, with the sun shinning in behind her, she imagined the smell of cookies baking. She knew it was her imagination, for the walls of this tower had not been graced by owner or visitor in years. Whispering, " Oh , Devil" she smiled thinking of this tower and the happy times spent here.

In the coming weeks there would be many journeys to places that shaped her past. Most places seemed neglected and abandoned which made her a little sad.
She went to what she remembered as Sanctus, where the famous Hanses Hostel still stood. Sitting at a table in front of the fire, her mind was flooded with memories. People's faces blinked one to another as she laughed out loud at their antics. She went to the back door , looking out she saw the fenced in area that had been used as a sparring spot for so many. She remember cheering along side Ditto as the knights, soldiers and warriors fought for bragging rights. She walked outside to the road and headed towards Aerie's house. It was still beautiful and in good repair but sadly empty. She turned and strolled in the opposite direction. In the distance was a house that was always seemingly lit up with welcome. When she thought of Tati she thought of how good and noble a person she had always been. She smiled at the thought that Tati would blush to hear the compliment. That brought her next destination to her mind and as she blinked and opened her eyes she stood in front of Poet's Garden.

Memories flooded her mind. Music, games and laughter . Such fun and happiness. Then the memories grew dark. Fire, torment, loneliness and tears. The days when Scribble and Poet had joined her in the gleeful chaos were just stories and shadows stuck in the past.

Moving on to the place she would always think of as home. Yew. The place her home had been built, her loyalty had belonged and her heart would always remain. She wondered how King Sid and Queen Marinda were doing. Did the Yew Royalty seat still exsist? Had her home become another victom of time? Would she try to join this new realm or remain a shadow from the past, a ghost.
