Her body curled up on the cool floor, her breathing uneven. She rolled to her back and kept her eyes closed. Its almost over,she whispered. She slowly climbed to stand and staggered and caught herself and held her head. She made her way to the bed and crawled her way into it. "safe...I'll be safe..." the promise echoed in her ears and she feel asleep.

around the ever present world
Waiting for the dawn to break
wishing for the night to come
The dusk awaits in the clouds
wondering if it will ever come
