Kaylor sat at his desk, wincing slightly as he loosed the latches that held the brace secure to his leg. It was not pain that brought about his discomfort, but the plague of lingering weakness despite the gradual return of sensation and use. Rythane was currently at the task of forging his new armour. Mayhaps he would ask that reinforcement be added to the leggings which might then negate the necessity for his continued wearing of the wretched vice.
In the meanwhile however, far more important matters required his attention.
Evan,
I trust all preparations for the coronation proceed well, Sir. In addition, I am certain plans for Eclyse's trial are settling into place per my instructions.
My apologies, but that I now must place upon you one last burden, Friend. The Black Knight has not been back to Faerwhynne since the moment of our joining. I cannot know the outcome of potential influence within such close proximity of Rhiannon's power. I ask that you prepare my knights for any and all possible eventualities. They are not to hesitate should I become a danger to my realm.
In Gratitude Most Sincerely,
Kaylor _________________ *Even if you be otherwise perfect, you fail without humility. ~ The Talmud* |
