Shai sits on a log in the forests north of the City of Britain. Taking out a piece of parchment and a quill he writes what comes to mind....

The depths of winter have slowed the vampires activity bringing longer slumbers and less progress. In their place the warmth of fresh mortal blood has brought a glimpse of hope for the new season. Many have found the doors on the Vampiric Hall as their refuge from the winters cold. Long nights of training have prepared the new blood for the battles come spring. They await the return of the more seasoned vampires that have left to tend to the Vampiric Lord in his battles in the homeland. Word has been received he was injured and has been fighting for his life. We can only hope for his recovery and hasty return to us. Soon the moon will run red with the blood of mortals and he will see it no matter where he is, hopefully he will be able to see if from the battlefield rather then across the sea. The queen fiends for nourishment that only a lord can provide and can wait no longer. To ensure survival of the clan we must adapt and survive. She must Feed. The time for the mortals to turn is approaching and with their last breath comes a new one for the clan. We will again demand fear from our enemies!

Shai hears footsteps coming from up the path. He pays no attention and continues to write.

I can only remember parts of my past. Some say I might have amnesia. Amnesia? such a word! such an ailment! who ever heard of such a thing. And yet there is so much I cannot remember...no faces,no names,no places...except...no. Now my mount El Muerto i know him. but why him and so much seems lost to me! I do remember that i love the woods and it feels like home here. With all the trees and wild life out here. Just very peaceful .

One day while I was walking thru the woods. I notice a man sitting a little ways up on a log. Look like he was taking notes or something. I slowly approached him...

Shai speaks aloud but does not bother to turn around. He says "It's not safe traveling alone through the woods you know, might find trouble." She replyed " What makes you think I'm not looking for it."

She insisted she could take care of herself and with her jet black steed carrying her nothing could harm her. Shai then turned around hood shielding his face from view, only his smirking face could be seen giving her chills as he approached. He reached out a hand brushing the steeds neck. "Maybe i should walk you home miss...." He didn't wait for an answer and they began to walk.

Shai Walked with her till they reached Lucian's home near the Britain cross roads. He insisted she be careful for you never know what dangers the world holds. He tells her to never seek for him for her life would be in danger. Confused she left but she knew this would not be the last of him.

The Tavern:

Sitting at Hanse's Hostel Shai watches as the new mortals drink and enjoy there mortal flesh for the short time they have left. A woman sits down at the table and it is none other then the woman he met on the path from Britain.

"You again, I thought you would be dead by now"

- "Why would you say that?!"

"From what i know of you, your a danger seeker and wish nothing more then to be dead"

- "I do not"

"Then leave my sight or be it so"

The Festival:

Shai watchs the bagball flying around the field resulting is a score against Magincia, he cheers then sits back down. Next to him sits a now familiar person with her red hair and smile across her face.

- "I'm not dead yet" *Smiles*

"You have proven to be a resilient one indeed"

- "Why do you want me dead so bad"

"It's not me that wants you dead, it's you"

- "If your going to kill me just try already"

"You have no fear, I'm not sure if respect it or feel sorry for your poor judgment"

The Covenant Castle:

Walking down the stairs shai spots the red haired lady again. He walks strait to her in a fit of rage yells " Enough!, I will send for you and you will come. TIME TO DIE! You will get what you want if only to rid me of your lingering" He storms out the door leaving a shocked look on her face.
