"Vith!! Sanguine fa'la zatoast!"
Kal'iksix cursed aloud in drow as Xunafein clamped down once again on her wrist. Kal'iksix's wrists had become peppered with tiny bite marks since his dramatic birth into this realm and she could feel herself getting more and more tired from Xun's feedings.
"It's time you went to your father's! Afterall, you ARE the only heir to the Cappadocian empire," Kal spoke to the child who could now pass for a human toddler. Her children by Ian definately grew more rapidly than her only true drow son. She was unsure of her daughter with Drayden due to her kidnapping and ritual that was performed on her.
"I hope she's turned to dust by now," Kal'iksix chuckled to herself, "Silly males thinking they can perform aging spells properly."
Another sharp pain to her wrist snapped Kal'iksix from her thoughts as another string of curse words flowed from her crimson lips. Setting Xunafein down next to his twin sister, Rhylcice, Kal quickly gathered items that Xun would need during his time with his father, including a few Llothian lore books. She paused briefly to see Xun quietly babbling to his sister. Kal'iksix summoned for Isis to gather Rhylcice as Kal'iksix gathered Xunafein. She made her way to the teleporter that would transport her and the boy to Ian's palace. Kal'iksix held the boy close as a white flash engulfed them and transported them to the familiar hedge garden of the Cappadocian Lord.
"Xsa ol!" Kal'iksix yelled as tiny fangs found the area near her carotid artery. "Listen you little brat! The time has come for you to learn how to become the vampire prince you are!" Pulling him from her neck, Kal'iksix stood quietly to locate Ian in his palace. Finding him just outside his office in the library, Kal'iksix bounded up the stairs. Not allowing him the chance for a greeting, Kal'iksix thrusted the child into his arms.
"Your turn!" |
