*a small brown hawk swoops low out of the trees, dropping a roll of parchment bound with a green ribbon*

My dear Lady Kaedence,
Your draught worked like a charm! With your permission, I'd like to refer my patients to you for help with sleeping issues. I look forward to your reply.

Kaedence knelt and opened the parchement twisting and wrapping the ribbon around her fingers as she read the message. A small smile spread across her face and warmth touched her heart. It had been years since she heard the satisfaction of a consumer and this was coming from a peer of sorts.

The time of hiding in the shadows is over now, there is no life for me hidden away here. It's time to open my doors once agan.
She reached for a quill and ink and penned a short reply

Mr. Jacob Amersyng,
I am glad to hear that my draught was a help with your bouts of insomnia. I would be honored if you would refer your patients to me. I've forgotten what it was like dealing with people face to face, it is time I remembered. I can also do something for you in return, I know of a group that from time to time are in need of healers, particularly a specialist. Name a date and time and I'd like to discuss this further.

Until that time, best regards,
Kaedence VanHellseig
A.K.A Kaede

*Returning to the inn, the innkeep motioned him over, holding a small letter out. Smiling, he took it and went up to his room, opening it before he even took off his boots. His grin widened as he read it. Pulling a parchement, he jotted a short note.

Miss Kaede,
If you are about Monday evening, I would love to meet you for a drink at the Hostle. I'll be wearing my feathered cap, in case there is a crowd.

*signed with a flourish*
Jacob

*tying it to his hawk, he let it go out the window, smiling after it. Perhaps he could make friends after all...*
