A dark blue leather pouch with flour spots speckling the material and tied neatly with a shadow ribbon is placed in a secured location of The Wolf King's Office. Attached is a note that is also covered in flour and what looks like tiny chocolate fingerprints.

"Fur Boy! Sire!

Perhaps you have been made aware that these cookies have been requested. You will find enough for one week as well as an extra dose each night. A pouch with an additional batch will be sent next Sunday and so on until the threat has passed.

If you require anything else just let me know.

Myrddin picked up the bag of cookies in one hand, lifting it level with his eyes.

Slowly it spun, hanging form his hand, and he looked upon the various spots of flour with dismay.

Livvie had sent him such packages before, but while there was no doubt about her talent, something bothered him about this delivery.

Ultimately he decided it was these splotches of flour.

The powdery substance was easy enough to wipe away..and powder was nothing in comparison to some of the things that had gotten into his clothes in a lifetime of war.

But no..this flour..this lifeblood of the cookies, was just a reminder of the task that lay ahead.

Most kings tossed about bags of gold for fun, Myrddin didn't care for that.

But he didn't really care for having to eat bags of cookies either.

Like so many other things in his life, eating this bag of cookies was not a leisurely activity, but part of his duty as a king, it was a chore.

Myrddin sank in his chair, setting the bag of cookeis down on the table and opening it with one hand.

He lazily reached into the bag, bringing the first of many sacrifices to his lips.

He began to chew...

At least it wasn't poisoned.
