The cold night air was contrasted by the ever warming blood of the Guardians of Stonegate.

The Wolf King stood before his warriors waiting for the last arrivals, recent events playing over in his mind.

Things were moving quickly, admittedly a bit more quickly than even he had suspected. Frail as the magnate seemed, there was no doubt that his renewed resolve was having an effect.

Myrddin clutched what was equally the simplest, and yet most arrogant letter he'd received in some time, tightly in his hand.

Control was something prided on in Stonegate, and so it was with careful consideration that they walked the shores of Magincia.








Guardians...These Magincians wanted to send us a message.

They sent a spy late in the night while we, the soldiers of Stonegate, were doing our jobs elsewhere.

Scatter these books in every building and across this beach. Before their boats and anywhere else that may seem fitting.

Let them know that we came in person, with far more than a spy.
