OK, so first off, you may or may not know what vocaliod is. I hope you do, because the interwebz have lots of stuffs in them...but basically it's a program that synth's a human voice.

Pretty well known example:




Well apparently they had a concert in Japan, where the singer was one of the Vocaloid voices (each voice has an anime styled character to represent the voice), and since it's not a real person, they used a hologram projector to put her on stage.

and love Japan too! Went there for a summer back in college, stay'd with a friend in okinawa. I so didn't want to leave!.
