The joust will be set up in single elimination, brackets with three falls winning each bout. If both jousters are knocked from their steeds, no points are awarded to either.

We are looking to fill a field of 16 participants (Lofty, I know) and no more, so that the brackets will be nice and even with no byes. We do ask that some of the larger guilds maybe only put up 3 or so entries so as to give all guilds a chance to field a representative. After we get a feel for our numbers, guilds may add more until 16 is reached.

Tatiana, Soren, and Victoria will be crafting armor, and lances, and only in Dull Copper, and unimbued except for the Use Best Weapon Skill on the lances in advance. We will be dyeing the armor various colors in accordance to the entry, so please, sign up by PMing me or hitting me on my icq (585692462...write a message so I know who you are, I'm funny like that) and let me know what color knight you wish to be. To tweak your look, we will provide surcoats and cloaks and dye tubs as well.

The above equipment rules are to keep the playing field level and give anyone a chance to do well. In addition, there is to be no jewelry, or arties of any kind, this includes totems.

There is to be NO spellcasting. No Divine Fury, or Evasion etc. before a tilt. We'd like this contest to be strictly skill based...ok, and luck.

I think that's it, but please, if you plan of fielding a jouster, get in touch with me. This way we can get a handle on our numbers, and you can call dibs on a color to represent as no two same color schemes will be allowed. It'd look lame with like 3 Blue Knights with white cloaks...so no dice!

Need colors to be worn from Gerard. Also, due to some Johnny Come Latelys, participants have been upped to 20 so that VO and BL could be represented...but thats all. No mo'
