I wouldn't say he is necessarily a "horror" movie villain, but I've always been partial to Hannibal Lecter as far as villains go.

Tough question for me, I love so many horror movies.

Hmmm I've always loved Freddy Krueger. Love the hat, the claws, the sense of humor, method of murder. Was always a frightening concept to me. So he gets to be my favorite, being a classic.

I guess my second fave is the creepy undertaker guy from Phantasm. Again, a classic.

Call me old fashioned. But you can't go wrong with Jack Nicholson.

And for some contrast...wait...I'm noticing a trend with axes I think.

Not that I could ever watch it, but I'm going with that clown in Stephen King's "It"

As for the one I can actually watch? Michael Myers from "Halloween"

I'm allergic to clowns, you see. They make me break out in a run.

This is the kind of question I can have a different answer to each day, lol. Presently my favourite is little known but big in name.

The Tall Man from Phantasm I-IV

The best of all time is easily Dracula, despite all the "ways to kill a vampire" that people have tacked on over the years.

The second best would have to be either Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees, though their strengths seem to be basically just that there's not many clear-cut rules that apply to them, thus making them pretty much impossible to really kill and letting them always show up in the worst place at the worst time.

Michael Myers, no question. Not much creepier than a stealthy mute wearing a pasty white mask.
