At the first moment when Rowan woke up, there was only one thought going through her little head: First class of WIT. Though, as per the usual she got distracted and her mind became muddled with other wonders of the day. During breakfast, she became distracted by her bird, Guard, trying to catch a worm while floating mid air. Giggles pealed through the doorway as the greenhair child watched her bird try to catch the worm, and failing horribly as it bobbed along with its beak making holes in the ground. Then she watched her sister bravely battle a ferocious snake, severing its head with a fierce blow. She pondered when she was going to finally be able to puke. Such things couldn't be missed, at least not in Rowan's mind. The day progressed much the same, with wonderous action taking place in her rather happy family home.

When the hour arrived, her excitement could barely be contained. She got there early, and, upon spotting Willow, began chatting as only Rowan knew how to chat. "Hi Aunt Willow! Today is the first day of class. Are you going to teach us to fight? Can you teach us how to kill snakes? Can you teach me to shoot a snake in the eye?" Her questions all flew out of her mouth with an unusual speed, leaving no pause for one to respond. Willow gave her a patient, yet somehow exhausted look.

"Have you had candy already child?" she asked, making Rowan look at her blankly.

"No," she said.

She spent the rest of the time before class running with Willow, looking around for any children venturing to school. Along the trip, she spotted a polar bear who's large teeth bared as it yelled at them. She openned her mouth, yelling back, knowing it wouldn't eat her before Willow got a kryss into it. "Or my arrow," she said with a giggle, the sound like a high bell echoing off the caves. The rest of the children got there and it went even more wonderful than Rowan's little mind could've imaginned. She got to play in snow, though she was certain her wings would freeze off. She got to play in slime, which was gooey, and sticky, getting into everything, and lava, which felt warm and at home. She got to watch the puppy puke and everyone else dance on the lava pit.

Most though, was when they went and found a place where there was blood everywhere! Thoryne said it was corpses. Watching everyone's face turn green at the sight, she was convinced someone's stomach exploded, causing the blood everywhere. Imagine, all the stomachs exploding. Rowan sighed wistfully at the thought.

At the end of the night, they were treated to cookies. Her Uncle Korin generously put some honey on hers. Thoryne sneaked a honey pot to her. Rowan ate each with the full Rowan gusto that'd become almost common amongst the valley. Then she spotted cake! She grabbed first one, sneaking it past the adults talking, bringing it to her honey pot. Then she flew back under everyone's radar, grabbing a second cake. She ate the center of one, her head buried within as she sucked out the frosting. She began to eat that when Suddenly she got up and ran about the tavern, flying through the air madly before stopping. Everyone watched, her sister trying to catch her, as she moved as fast as her wings could take her before stopping right before the honey pot. Jade looked at her oddly when Rowan felt her stomach started to move independantly from her. She flew up, her face turning a horrid shade of green. Jade looked at her.

"Rowan, what's wrong?"

Rowan looked up pitifully at Jade before turning, her stomach's content going into the honey pot. Jade made a distinct "Eeew" sound as Rowan finished, collapsing slightly. Yet a large smile was on her face. This day was even better than she thought. She even got to puke. After much stomach issues, speed flying through the tavern, stories told, and small confessions of frozen beds, her day finally ended with the promise to spend the night in an ice castle. All she had to do was ask Mommy... Rowan yawned, her thoughts shifting slightly. Best to ask Daddy, she thought, floating to her bed to dream of frozen honey, blood, and beds.
