Quietly she peeked around the edge of the staircase. She had seen him walk by from her position at the bank but had not wanted to out and out disturb him. It wasn't proper to be sneaking like this. And if Toshi knew she was he would certainly have something to say about it. Either way it was worth the risk to make sure that Ohanzee was alright.

Her eyes alight with curiosity she watched from the shadows as he entered his room. Tired, that seemed to describe it as he stretched and leaned, muscle and sinew contracting and expanding with his movements. He didn't seem to be in any obvious amounts of pain and she couldn't help but issue a sigh of relief at that thought.

He saw it then, the bag of food and drink she had left on his bedroom floor. She thought she saw him smile, heard him laugh. But what she saw next scared her enough to have her hurtling down the stairs at full speed and out the door. As if he had sensed her presence he turned and stared directly at her position.
