TM jr picked up the note left at the store.
"More potions. Tully." he read with disgust.
"For the love of pete...doesn't anybody else work around here?" grumbled TM Jr as he slammed his mortar and pestle on his elven alchemy table.
He got to work, as usual. He needed the money for his research. Or more to the point he needed the money to hide his research. Many would not approve in the direction he was going in his alchemical mixings. Which is why Frank Bama's store was a near perfect place to be. Frank rarely asked questions. Tully though more of an upstanding person, often looked the other way. Ever since Tully found the little orphan boy wandering the dank streets of Umbra, Tully had to look the other way. Not sure if it was a question of nature vs nurture of Tully's adopted son, but TM definitely had a dark side. When TM found potions, Tully had hoped he had found a way to channel this evil tendency. But potions also became poisons which became....well lets just say it was no longer about grinding ginseng.

"I made 2000 potions the other day. What do you mean they all sold!?" Tm yelled at the poor lost potions vendor.

If Tm pushed it, he could make over 3000 potions in half of a Britannia day. But he never really pushed it.

"Why won't Tully let Frank raise these prices!!?" again firing his anger towards the flustered potion vendor, who cowered in the corner knowing full well what TM was capable of doing to him. "40 Gold for a greater heal potion. Pennies!"

Tully had stepped in and regulated the potion pricing. He had to. He had feared too much wealth for his adopted son and namesake would ultimately corrupt him. And he was most likely correct. TM Jr started doing the math.

"Lets see 21 gold worth of ginseng and 5 gold for the bottle...Plus my TIME!!! I should be rewarded generously for my time and effort!!! I wonder if the factions have a sale on reagents? That could bring my ginseng cost down to 14." TM Jr said aloud to himself.

These bouts of talking to himself were more and more common. No doubt, a side effect from working with parasitic plants and other such nasty items.

"Plus people like Stefano are just buying me out and reselling. And he calls himself an alchemist?!" TM raged on, "DO the work yourself!"

Frank's store definitely had become sort of a one-stop wholesale shop for many of the lands vendors. Tully rationalized this with the cost of carrying inventory and not having a turn over rate, but TM never bought it.

"Fricking Tully just wants to play Mother Theresa to these fools and just give stuff away." complained TM, "And Frank doesn't care because it keeps people coming back to his shop"

But in all honesty, the potion vendor made a pretty penny still (especially when faction vendors lowered their prices) and was truly a draw to the store. TM Jr's real anger stemmed from losing his parents at such a young age. And he had hopes that his research would make sure he never loses another person again.

"I will be back to you shortly" as TM Jr spotted his ongoing project in the corner. His bubbling flask contained a purple substance right now but soon "A draught of pure life...can you imagine, Immortality!"
