Her muscles ached. She had spent most of the night up and down the steps of the meadhall checking in on Merci. Periodic potions, periodic bandages and hushed whispers as the two woman discussed their lives. Conversations between Merci and Livvie had always been easy and unhurried from the first day they met. And now, with their shared Lycan blood and shared love of Stonegate, it was easier than ever before.

Wiping a hand across the sleeping woman's brow, she let her green eyes rake over the slowly healing form. Stonegate was a group of survivors. And once again they had proved it. They would continue to prove it. Whispering low to the sleeping figure, "I'll be back soon. Rest my friend," she bid goodnight to Mei and headed for Ebon's.

The door creaked open and she slid carefully inside. Her cape long since removed she did the same to her Gypsy Headress and walked to the bedroom. Still dressed but kicked back against the headboard, Ebon's eyes watched his wife slip onto the sheets with him. Scooting over as he always did to make room for her he held his arm out. Without a word Livvie snuggled up against his side.

"You look tired love." His eyes grazed over her, worry clearly evident.

"I'm alright, Love. It's just been a long evening. And it isn't even over." She laid her head on his shoulder then and let her breath linger against his neck. The reward for which was the shiver she felt ripple through his body. Taking a hand he placed it over her slightly rounded abdomen protectively.

"You take care of the Oracle, and I will take care of you." His words were soft but solid.

Noding slowly she drifted off into a well needed catnip. Days and nights in Stonegate were only going to get longer.
