Temperance stood perfectly still as she watched the other Atalan. Despite his graceful movements, she knew he was raging. She could feel his anger coursing through her veins with every spell he hurled. There was a ferociousness that enveloped him like fire, keeping him from exhaustion. Instead of the calm, which often came with release, his fury fed off expending his magic.

Hours later...

Temperance looked him over as he walked toward her with purpose. Saevio stopped directly in front of her, staring down into her deep crimson eyes. He waited impatiently for her to say something. They stared at each other for awhile, in complete silence, until his inner rage subsided. Only then would she speak to him.

"You did well." Temperance said offhandedly.

Saevio's jaw clenched slightly before nodding. She was testing him. As usual.

"Something is on your mind." she said evenly.

Saevio nodded again, refraining from clenching his jaw this time. She continued looking up at him, her red eyes still fixated on his. Temperance stood calmly as she watched him, waiting until he was ready to tell her what he wanted. Saevio's body tensed, trying to find the words.

Saevio's, often suspect, self control was failing him again. His brain casting spells off of pure impulse and his white hands directing them to anything and everything would have looked like art, but Saevio was no dancer. He had no choreography and any semblance of grace was purely physical. His thoughts were sporadic and incomplete, nothing more than the impulses destroying the forest around him.

*Anger* KalVasFlam! Tree! KalVasAnMani! *Rage* Die! VasFlam! OrtPor! Bunny! *Fury!* Go!Why!Go!Go! FlamGrav!

He continued raging for hours until he felt a calmness come over him. It wasn't his own, he was still raging inside. From the center of his destruction he looked around. He couldn't see her but he knew Temperance was there. After clearing his eyes and focusing more on her, he was able to pick her white face out from under her red hood.

His new impulses were significantly less destructive. He walked up to Temperance and looked down into her eyes. She was a whole foot shorter and looking almost directly up at him in return. Still cloudy and raging he looked into her eyes for some time before she said something. His jaw clenched as his rage spiked, but she cut it short.

"Something is on your mind." Her voice had its usual even calming effect.

He focused on her and the calm feeling that naturally radiated from her, it allowed him to nod, even without the clenched jaw. Splitting his focus to speaking was the first step to frustration. His mind was still raging.

He put his focus back onto her and forced himself to relax. The first time he opened his mouth nothing came out.

Temper. Calm. Stump!
*frustration* Hurt! Temperance. Ground! Easy. *grumble* Anger! Down. Breathe.

His second attempt was brief and satisfying, "I tripped."
