Lady Christian,

I would meet with you this evening for a brief discussion regarding the quest I mentioned after we sparred last night.

Until then,

K

"Aireamh na h-Aoine ort!" Eclyse cursed under her breath as the sturdy leatherworking needle jabbed her finger for what seemed like the twentieth time. She sucked her fingertip, then shook her hand vigorously to ease the pain, as if it had helped any of the other nineteen times. She looked over at the parchment lying on the table beside her, bearing the request from Kaylor.

Lars, Britain's librarian, smirked, watching her at her over his spectacles. "Perhaps you should stop looking at that letter and respond to it, before you're writing it in blood, hmm?"

Eclyse sighed. "I 'ave to get this repaired 'fore I see 'im." She held up the black leather bustier, complete with a catastrophic gash across the midsection.

Lars chuckled. "Fine. You dictate, I'll write. You can sew and curse all you want."

Eclyse grinned. "Leave the cursin' out o' the letter aye?"

Lars laughed and nodded once. "Very well." He readied his quill. "At your leisure, Lady Eclyse."

Sir Kaylor,

I shall seek you out this evening by the light of the silver moon to speak with you in reference to the task and quest you have in mind. Until then, may the stars shine on thee. My gratitude is ever-increasing for the guidance and discipline you continue to provide.

In Virtue,
Eclyse Christian

Eclyse sucked her fingertip again as she read over the letter before Lars rolled it and summoned a courier. "Tha's not wot I said. What's this "silvery moon" stuff?"

Lars chuckled. "I replaced your Gaelic rant on the origin of your bustier and the underworld destination to which you were going to send it after you jabbed your finger. I trust the change is satisfactory?"

Eclyse blushed slightly and nodded. "Aye, fair 'nough. I'll get the 'ang of it eventually."
