Just like the title says, I finally caved in and re-activated my account this morning (I was bored waiting for a conference call to start at work, so I just did it).

I logged in as Cuthbert and found myself atop my ethy, standing next to what formerly was MY house, now someone elses Sad

I found it kind of amusing that a fellow named The Glorious Lord Cuthbert could be homeless, but that's UO for ya!

Anyway, I will be IG as Cuth for awhile to get my feet wet again and try to get adjusted to some of the additions made since I last was here. I don't have the SA client yet, I will buy that eventually.

I won't be using Cuth to RP, just mainly for hunting. I will create a new RP char and re-enter the IG community with him. I'd rather not make it known who I am when I do that, because I feel like the RP might be better without people knowing it is Me/Cuthbert on the other end of that char. It will probably be awhile before I make that char anyway.

Thanks, Tyr! I'll mope around on my own for awhile, but I might take you up on that offer eventually!

UOCartographer question for you guys. I D/L it, but it won't set up correctly. I don't have UOAM anymore, so it can't take the files from there, and when it looks for files now, it's looking in the wrong folder. I can go in and make it look in the "right" folder, but then all I get when UOC opens is a black box.

Anyone else run into this issue?

Anyone know a good area for house hunting? I still have all my gold in the bank, so I can buy a house. I just want a small one.

There are two spots where both of my houses around Umbra used to be that are still open, one is 14x13 and the other is 13x18. So if you'd like to see either of those spots just give me a holler.

I found some spots outside Umbra. I don't want a big house this time, so I think I am going to place a small one. I don't think it's either of the ones you guys referred to, because it's not big enough to fit a large house.

I have heard you can have multiple houses per account now, is that true?

Bah. Oh well, I can dream....

In any event, I need a Dye Tub, a Forge and an Anvil. I know they aren't that hard to come by, but I would rather give gold to an RPer than some random UOer.

Your house is actually in one of the spots I was talking about, hehe. A much larger home will fit there.. just so you're aware.

Tyr - oh, haha, okay, my fault. I played around with some house sizes and couldn't get bigger ones to fit, but decided I was okay with the house I placed in the end. I just want a place to store stuff and log out - I don't really need a grand castle or anything.

Rosar, actually I just meant a standard dye tub (and I just bought one so I don't actually need it now). Any help with anything else would be awesome, just to kind of get myself back on my feet. I know you said no charge but I'd at least like to give you SOMETHING for them if you have them. Even something small. I just feel like it's the right thing to do.

Edit: I actually am looking for Chests as well for storage. And if anyone happens to know any vendors selling stone tables and chairs (no current preference on type) and could direct me that way, I would appreciate it.

I have a couple vendors selling through my backstock of masonry at Dragonstorm since I"m discontinuing that vendor (right off the SW bridge of Umbra). Not a great selection as quite a bit has been bought, but there is anything you see on it you can use, I'll be happy to just pull it off and give it to you - no charge. My ICQ is 465-972-004.
