Dearest Sara,

I feel like we haven't spoken in ages! Where are you now? Still living up in Snowden? I hope so. I always liked that place. It's got a great atmosphere that I just love. But you know that! Orcs still being a nuisance? Probably not anymore. You were always such a great swordswoman. Just one of your many, many talents. You always took to everything so easily.

I'm still doing the same old, same old. I'm pretty jealous of you. I can't imagine the things you've seen, the places you've been or the experiences you've had. It must be so wonderful and fantastic where you are. I'm stuck where I am. Not that I don't like it, I just would love to be able to know what you've been through. I think in a lot of ways, I could really benefit from that. Add your experiences to my own would only make me a better fighter, a better adventurer, and a better... well... everything!

I don't really expect a letter back. That's okay. I know how busy you must be, and I've heard about how bad the postal service is about getting letters to where I am. I don't understand it. They have NO trouble getting my letters to you, but as soon as you want to send one back to me, they start getting all in a huff, talking about space-time and other science-y stuff. Why that matters, I'll never understand.

Anyway, it's been nice catching up. I'll write again in a few weeks, and let you know what I'm up to. Maybe you could visit sometime, if those blasted postal guys ever figure themselves out!
