She held the leaf between her gloved thumb and forefinger examining it closely. One of about 300 she had plucked off the shrub it's three segments grimaced at her from behind their green hue. Tossing that last one onto the neatly collected pile she double check her string of glass bottles above the concoction. Satisfied they were in position, Livvie took a step back.

Kal Vas Flam

Within her hand a small portion of flame jutted out just barely licking the tendrils of her fingertips. Extending her arm she directed it at the pile of leaves. It took only seconds for the brush to catch sending the smoke pillowing up towards the bottles that had been painstakingly erected. Once they were filled to capacity Livvie, clad all in armor for protection from the fumes, capped each one off.

This particular recipe called for a cool down period so slowly she removed her coverings and kept watch on the position of the sun outside The Poison Grub Manor. When the heavenly apparition had moved a quarter inch to the west she went in to pull them down. She must have left something still burning because within moments the far wall of the entryway to the log cabin had caught fire.

In a frantic grab for anything to put the flames out, Livvie grabbed a quilt, the same quilt that hung above the precious bottles With one swift movement she yanked the quilt sending bottles and all to the ground.

20 minutes later the fire was out and Livvie was covered from head to toe in an overly itchy red rash. Trying desperately not to scratch she sat down against the newly charred wall cussing her choice of quilt placement.
