She stood, the moonlight filling the room, tugging at her, almost calling to her. The wine had gone to her head. She could still feel the warming sensation of it in her belly and she closed her eyes trying to summon the cold back into her. She was sorely depleted these days.

It was as if she was gasping for cold like the dying breaths of a fish who has been removed from water. She disrobed and literally climbed out her window down the balcony and leapt the rest of the distance to the ground. Naked, she lay in the snow. Soft white snow flakes began to fall and cover her softly her white skin blending away, just the blue of her lips and hair slowly fading away. The snow was her companion and it made her feel alive, safe. Yet there was emptiness this night.

Soft rays of the moon poked thru the snowy shroud and she closed her eyes soaking in the cold. Her naked vulnerable form, softly resting, away from the eyes of the world, as she recouped herself beneath her icy blanket.

To close... lately she felt as if she was barely in control and the animal inside her hungered longing to be free. Next time would she be able to keep herself in check? Would violence overtake her? Was she softening, her emotions given to much free reign. She needed to pull back, fill the air with cold and remind herself who she was. There was no time for these pitiful thoughts and human emotions. Yet she hungered still... There she lay, her meditation deep but not restful, harsh and violent thoughts, hunger raging inside her, her mouth longing to bite, tear... rip... all that she was forbidden to do.
