The parchment is nondescript, rolled, and sealed with gold wax, the imprint of a rose set in brambles stamped on the seal.

Lord Lucian Le’Morte,

As per our conversation two nights’ past, I have spoken with my clan of your offer. In short, a number of our clan members have found the offer too generous to refuse, and would gladly undertake the task you mentioned at the price discussed.

Please note that this, in no way, constitutes an alliance between our clans, but reflects solely upon those individuals who complete the contracted work. Any and all payment will go, then, to those individuals, who will make themselves known to you before they are needed. The remainder of our clan will simply remain uninvolved in the matter.

If you require more information or wish to discuss this further, we may arrange a meeting at the same neutral location as before, at a time that is convenient to you or your clan.
