My Dearest Ciara

First off I am sorry for the way I acted at the promotion cerermony last eve. I hope you can forgive me.

secondly, I would like to enlist my services as an instructor in the W.I.T. program. If I am going to stand beside these young people or possibally lead them into battle. It only seems logical to me to help train them.
We can talk about the roll I will play the next time we meet face to face.

Ciara stared at the note, unsure how to respond. Slitherby stared at Ciara, causing her to smile gently to the little snake rat thing. With a small nod to herself, she took out a scroll and began writing.

Dear Korin,

You have no need to ask considering the circumstances, but since you did ask, you are forgiven. As for the WIT program, I think you'd do well to teach the children, (you always were quite good with them) but it must go through Willow for approval. As for position, that's best discussed in person as you stated.

Ciara

She attached the note to Slitherby and sent him off into the snow to Korin's home.

Korin arrived home late in the night, to find Slitherby shivering on his doorsteps. He removed the note and read it. picking up the creature he went inside and to his office to pen a responce.

On the same parachment he wrote.

Thank you, I told mother of our broken engagement this evening. Just to let you know.
